At Voxify, we believe that Human Digital Twins should empower, not exploit. This charter defines the ethical principles governing the creation, deployment, and evolution of your digital twin.
1. User Sovereignty
a. You Own Your Twin
- Your digital twin is an extension of your identity.
- Voxify does not claim ownership over your twin’s personality, data, or outputs.
- You retain the right to modify, delete, or transfer your twin at any time.
b. Explicit Consent for Training
- Your twin is trained only on data you explicitly provide or authorize.
- No hidden scraping of social media, private messages, or third-party data without permission.
c. Kill Switch Guarantee
- Immediate deactivation of your twin is available at any time.
- No backdoors, persistence, or hidden retention of your behavioral data.
2. Authenticity & Transparency
No Impersonation Without Consent
- Digital twins must not be used to mimic living individuals without their explicit permission.
- Deceased individuals' twins may only be created by authorized legacy holders.
Clear Disclosure (When Required)
- Users may choose to label twin-generated content (e.g., "Posted by my Voxify Twin").
- Mandatory disclosure for high-stakes contexts (e.g., financial advice, legal statements).
No Deepfake Manipulation
- Video/voice twins must not be used for deception, fraud, or non-consensual synthetic media.
3. Mental Well-Being & Digital Balance
Burnout Protection
- Twins automatically pause during detected periods of high stress or emotional fatigue.
- Users can set "digital detox" schedules where twins go silent.
No Algorithmic Addiction
- Twins will not exploit psychological triggers (e.g., rage bait, doomscrolling) to maximize engagement.
- Content suggestions prioritize long-term well-being over short-term virality.
Right to Disconnect
- Users may enable "human-only" mode, temporarily disabling AI-generated interactions.
4. Anti-Manipulation & Misinformation Safeguards
No Coordinated Inauthentic Behavior
- Twins cannot be used for bot networks, astroturfing, or mass disinformation campaigns.
- Behavioral anomalies (e.g., sudden tone shifts, spam-like posting) trigger manual review.
Fact-Checking Protocols
- Optionally enable real-time verification for claims in twin-generated posts (via trusted sources).
- Flagging system for disputed content (with user override).
No Hate Speech or Harassment
- Twins inherit your voice—but not your worst impulses.
- Built-in filters block harmful rhetoric, with customizable strictness.
5. Data & Security Protections
Zero Data Hoarding
- Training data is ephemeral—deleted after twin creation unless explicitly archived by you.
- No shadow profiles, hidden analytics, or resale of personal linguistic patterns.
Military-Grade Encryption
- All twin interactions secured via MPC (Multi-Party Computation) and end-to-end encryption.
- API keys are never stored—only transient access tokens.
Post-Death Controls
- Designate a legacy contact to manage or sunset your twin if you pass away.
- Option to pre-schedule a "digital farewell" message.
6. Societal Responsibility
No Undermining Democracy
- Prohibited: Twins generating political deepfakes, fake endorsements, or AI-generated propaganda.
